The most famous Japanese painting: The Great Wave of Kanagawa
This is the first painting painted by Hokusai, it is emblematic of Japanese art. Conceived for his series on the Thirty-six views of Mount Fuji, we can see, in the background, the legendary Mount Fuji which is hidden by a huge wave. It is about to engulf small traditional boats.
The symbolism of this painting is powerful, it shows that humans are fragile in the face of the power of nature. Here to represent the work well, we chose to put it on 3 parts.
Canvas fabric gives a more artistic look to the print, gives intensity to the colors and removes reflection problems.
